PAME union announces protest rally ahead of TIF opening

Greek Communist-affiliated trade union PAME on Thursday announced a rally for September 7, ahead of the opening of Thessaloniki’s annual International Fair (TIF).

The union accuses ruling New Democracy of implementing measures that undermine labor rights, following the “anti-labor legacy” of leftist SYRIZA.

The rally will be held on central Aristotelous square, at 6 p.m.
