Suspect escapes from Dafni police station
A Georgian suspect who had been arrested on charges of theft on Wednesday escaped from a police station in Dafni, south of central Athens.
Although the details of his escape are not yet clear, the suspect appears to have gotten away while he was in handcuffs.
A police operation is underway to find the suspect.
