Mani blaze still active
The blaze in eastern Mani peninsula, in southern Peloponnese, is still active on two fronts, but winds have somewhat abated, authorities say.
Inhabitants were notified by SMS late Saturday to remain vigilant all night.
Early Sunday, there were 155 firefighters in the area. Water-dropping aircraft and helicopters resumed operations at sunrise.
