Search and rescue operation under way for missing migrants off Lesvos
A search and rescue operation was under way by the Greek Coast Guard to locate three women who fell off a migrant boat as it approached the island of Lesvos on Friday morning.
The incident was reported to the authorities by other migrants who were among the 24 people, including women and children, who arrived at the Bay of Geras earlier in the day.
All the migrants are of Somali descent.
