A fireman in full protective gear extinguishes a blaze during a readiness drill at an oil refinery in western Attica yesterday. The exercise at the Aspropyrgos works, owned by state-controlled Hellenic Petroleum, was carried out by Elefsina firemen in cooperation with the fire brigade’s specialized EMAK unit and regional authorities.
