The Egnatia Highway…

A car drives through a tunnel on a new stretch of the Egnatia Highway, which is to traverse northern Greece from the western port of Igoumenitsa to the Kipi crossing on the Turkish border. The 23-kilometrer section inaugurated yesterday, which cost 147 million euros, links Igoumenitsa with Neochori. The rest of the road to Ioannina should be ready in one year.
