WEDNESDAY The Federation of Olympic Airways employees (OSPA) to stage a 24-hour strike demanding that the government declare the privatization tender void. -The Special Supreme Court scheduled to meet to discuss the issue of German reparations. This may be postoned. -Auction of German state property (Goethe Institute and school of archaeology) scheduled. This is to provide reparations to relatives of 214 people massacred in the village of Distomo in 1944. Auction may be postponed if court accepts German request for a freeze. -National Technical University of Athens and the University of Patras co-sponsor EUROGEN 2001: Evolutionary Methods for Design, Optimization and Control with Applications for Industrial Problems. THURSDAY Interior Minister Vasso Papandreou and Justice Minister Michalis Stathopoulos travel to Brussels for an extraordinary meeting of EU interior and justice ministers to discuss the war against terrorism. -Drivers of blue buses in Athens stage two work-stoppages, from 5 a.m to 7 a.m, and from 10 p.m to 12 a.m., demanding the hiring of more staff and technicians.
