Two elderly Athenians participate in a demonstration through the city center by pensioners protesting against the high cost of living and seeking better pensions. An estimated 400 people joined in the march to the House of Parliament, where a delegation met with party representatives. A similar demonstration was held in the northern city of Thessaloniki, where protesters were also demanding a state subsidy for heating oil.
