Media marathon for tsunami victims

As Greeks continue to donate an average of 40,000 euros a day for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami catastrophe in Southeast Asia, a media marathon today is expected to raise even more money in addition to what the public has already donated, and apart from the 300,000 euros given so far by the Greek State. The first aircraft bearing aid has left for the stricken regions, Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Evripidis Stylianidis told Skai radio yesterday, which is taking part in the marathon that begins at 6 a.m. today and continues until 1 a.m. tomorrow.
