Immigrants took part in an anti-racism protest outside Parliament in central Athens yesterday, against the immigration bill the government has submitted to the house. Protesters complained that the draft law does not do enough to help some 500,000 illegal immigrants thought to be living in Greece to obtain their legal permits.
