A young tourist passes a huge poster that depicts a Greek Cypriot holding a picture of a person missing since the 1974 Turkish invasion, in the divided capital of Nicosia, Cyprus yesterday. The remains of 60 people, believed to be Greek Cypriots who disappeared during the invasion, were unearthed in the Turkish-occupied northern part of the island, news reports said. The remains will undergo identification testing in a forensic lab that is to be set up in the so-called ‘dead zone,’ the Greek Cypriot Politis newspaper yesterday quoted Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat as saying.
