After heavy rain…
A house in the city of Kavala in northeastern Greece sits in several centimeters of water yesterday after heavy rain over the weekend left much of the area flooded. Authorities were trying to get to grips with the situation after the flash floods damaged houses and crops in northern and central Greece. The prolonged showers came after several days of extremely hot and sunny weather.
