Athenian drivers, seen passing by Parliament in front of Syntagma Square yesterday, are making trips to the city center without being limited by the odd/even traffic restriction rule scheduled to go into effect again on September 1. Scenes of a peaceful, car-free Athens are fast becoming a thing of the past as city residents continue to return to the capital after enjoying August holidays at the country’s beaches.
