Rescue teams clear the remains of a car accident from the Egnatia Highway in Imathia, northern Greece, yesterday after the collision resulted in the death of a mother and daughter on holiday from Italy. Eight-year-old Ivana Serantoni and her 37-year-old mother, Motania Rosela, were killed when the camper van which they were in swerved and crashed into a parked truck transporting water. The 38-year-old driver and a fourth passenger, a 58-year-old woman, were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.
