Japan’s Hiroshi Izumi throws Greece’s Ilias Iliadis yesterday to take the gold medal at the 24th World Judo Championship, which was held in Cairo, Egypt. Iliadis, who took the silver, won a gold medal during the Athens Olympics last year.
