Cows wander yesterday through the Kleisovas landfill near a lagoon in Mesolonghi, central Greece. Prefecture officials said that 10 projects costing 6 million euros will help improve the local environment and that a new landfill will start operating soon. The new projects will also aim at drawing ecotourism to the area, authorities added.
