Mai Khao Memorial Wall…
Vassilis Pakos places flowers at the Mai Khao Memorial Wall in Phuket, Thailand, yesterday, on the anniversary of the tsunami disaster which killed at least 216,000 people, including six Greeks, on Boxing Day last year. Pakos lost his daughter Marianna, who was working as a travel agent in the Indian Ocean resort. Greece has provided more than 30 million euros in aid to the region, according to the Foreign Ministry.
