Group attacks for third time

An anarchist group has claimed responsibility for two homemade devices that went off in Athens early yesterday, causing minor damage to a New Democracy branch office and a post office, police said. No one was hurt in the two attacks, which occurred at the conservative party’s political offices in the neighborhood of Lambrini and the post office in the suburb of Neo Psyhico. The group, called Anti-State Justice, rang an Athens radio station and claimed responsibility for the incident in what is their third attack this year. The group said that the attack was in support of the three suspected anarchists who were arrested in July in connection with an attack on policemen that led to their equipment being stolen. Additionally, they said that the bombs were aimed at supporting the suspected anarchists involved in a bloody bank robbery in Athens last week that resulted in three people being injured.
