Call girls’ gun game ends in fatal shooting
Police have launched a search for two call girls, both nationals from the ex-Soviet Union, after they were involved in the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old businessman. Authorities said yesterday that the businessman from the island of Myconos was found dead in his apartment in Palaio Faliron, southeastern Athens, after being shot once in the chest. According to the victim’s friend, the two men had invited two call girls over to his apartment on Thursday night and had been drinking heavily. The four of them then began to play with the victim’s gun when it backfired and killed the man, his friend told police. The two women are said to have run from the scene and have since gone missing. Police are conducting an investigation to determine the conditions behind the shooting.
