Police guards inspect…

Police guards inspect the area around a hotel in Thessaloniki where a summit of Balkan foreign ministers got under way yesterday. Countries belonging to the Southeast Cooperation Process (SEECP) agreed to expand a trade pact to include Western Balkan states and to set up a liaison office in Brussels to promote Balkan countries’ EU bids. Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis is today due to have talks with Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the summit.
