Evangelia Tsoukala…

Geology professor Evangelia Tsoukala holds up a skull at an excavation site in Halkidiki, northern Greece, yesterday. The skull is thought to be more than 5 million years old. Experts from Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University said the cranium is equal in size to that of the extinct Homo floresiensis ‘Flores man,’ the smallest species of human ever discovered.
