A helicopter drops water…
A helicopter drops water on a fire that had broken out on Veikou Hill in the northern Athenian district of Galatsi, yesterday evening. A group of 45 firefighters managed to contain the blaze that started at about 7 p.m. with the help of 15 trucks, four water-dropping aircraft and two helicopters. Firefighters managed to get the blaze under control within 30 minutes but remained on standby last night to extinguish a possible rekindling.
