Fani Halkia clutches her head after coming second in the women’s 400-meter hurdles final at the European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, yesterday. Halkia had been favored to win the gold medal and emulate her success at the Athens Olympics two years ago. However, she said that she was happy with her performance.
