A skateboarder performs a jump in front of the statue of Alexander the Great yesterday in Thessaloniki where Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis inaugurated this year’s International Fair on Friday. The prime minister also outlined the conservative government’s economic policies for the next year on Saturday in what is considered a keynote economic speech for the year. PASOK leader George Papandreou will have his turn to speak at the fair this Saturday. The fair, which annually draws about 150,000 visitors from around the world, is scheduled to wind up on Sunday.
