The charred interior of a branch of the National Bank in Gazi, central Athens, is seen yesterday hours after some 20 youths smashed the building’s windows and set fire to it. Police said the incident occurred at around 9 p.m. on Saturday. Some 15 firefighters put out the blaze. Nobody was injured but the bank suffered substantial damage.
