So you want to become a BookCrossing member? Follow these three ‘Rs’ to share your reads globally
Read: Find a book, perhaps one you have read, that is gathering dust on your bookshelf. Register: Become a BookCrossing member through the community’s website at www.bookcrossing.com. Personal details will be kept confidential. You can register your book anonymously with a BCID number, which you get from the website. Release: Once you have registered your book on the site, write a few words in the book about bookcrossing and note the BCID number, then «liberate» the volume in a public place. Then, if you happen to find a book with a BCID, go to the website and say it has been found, read the book and set it free for the next person.
