A worker walks through a destroyed branch of Emporiki Bank in central Athens yesterday shortly after an arson attack wrecked the premises. A total of nine bank branches in Athens, Piraeus and Thessaloniki were damaged early yesterday in a series of attacks using homemade bombs. Police believe self-styled anarchists are to blame for the attacks.
