Living on the edge: Complaining of dangerous work conditions and poor pay, a few score police and fire brigade officers protested outside Parliament in central Athens yesterday. They are seeking the tabling of a law to upgrade their pay scale. A similar protest will be held at noon today outside the old, marble Olympic stadium in the city center.
