Social contract has eroded

Today the social contract has eroded and been replaced by suspicion. It is no longer based on consensus, but a trade-off between individual and collective illegalities. Therefore, when the prevailing elements seen in modern Greek society today are a crisis in legitimacy and a crisis of confidence, we seek our own survival not by approaching and working with others, but by canceling each other out. To this end, we use every weapon available, whether it be the improvement of our personal security or an encompassing system that observes everyone at all times. Within this context comes the effort to gather information on the «enemy,» material that can be used against that enemy later, either defensively or offensively.
