A trash dumpster lies in the middle of a street in northern Athens after being blown over by gale-force winds yesterday. Windy conditions across the country resulted in the cancellation of some domestic flights. Two Olympic Airlines flights to Rhodes and one to Hania returned to Athens as winds of up to 10 Beaufort prevented the planes from landing.
