Free University
The Free University is an initiative of the Filekpaideftiki Association and its president, Professor Giorgos Babiniotis of Athens University. Their website states that the priority of their program at the Stoa tou Vivliou book arcade «is to offer high-quality lessons and free access to them.» They have five series of courses taught by leading academics. The current series covers humanities, linguistics, modern Greek drama, archaeology and literature. The second series of lectures, which is on positive sciences, starts in May.
