Booze Cooperative
An informal, alternative popular school of arts at the Booze club’s multipurpose venue runs seminar and lecture series on the theater, cinema and visual arts. The space is part of the Art Factories network, an initiative taken by the French Culture Ministry to link more than 200 artists’ communities around the world. The project has the support of a group of established artists, academics and theoreticians, including Manos Stefanidis, Kyriakos Katzourakis, Pepi Rigopoulou, Eva Stefani and Yiankos Andreadis. Currently, Fotis Terzakis is holding a seminar, an «Introduction to Aesthetic Philosophy.» Manos Stefanidis is giving a series of 10 seminars on art history, while visual artist Katzourakis and set designer Nikos Politis are preparing 10 seminars on the aesthetics of image and set design respectively. Cost: 200 euros (50 for students). Duration: 10 meetings.
