To protect yourself from ATM fraud: Change your PIN code regularly. Enter your PIN code carefully in case someone has installed a miniature camera in the ATM. Avoid obvious codes, e.g. date of birth. Credit card holders should also be careful: Don’t use your credit card at unfamiliar establishments. Don’t enter your codes on dodgy websites. Ask sales staff to debit credit cards in your presence. And, finally, keep receipts of all transactions.
