Protesters from the village of Lymbia…
Protesters from the village of Lymbia, south of Nicosia, stand on a bridge watching cars burn on the Nicosia-Larnaca highway. The villagers set fire to the cars and pushed them onto the highway to protest Cypriot government plans to build a landfill in their area. Earlier, eight people were injured after stone-throwing protesters clashed with police.
