A student at Athens University Law School leafs through the lists of candidates for yesterday’s student elections. The New Democracy-affiliated DAP-NDFK was expected to win the elections, which were held at universities and technical colleges around Greece, for the 21st year in a row since 1986. Polls closed at 8 p.m. and, according to initial figures, almost 160,000 students cast ballots in the elections.
