A bus passenger in Athens…

A bus passenger in Athens yesterday became sandwiched in between Marge and Homer Simpson as distributors step up advertising for the first ‘Simpsons Movie,’ which is due to open in Greek cinemas tomorrow. The highly successful US TV cartoon series, which has been running for 18 years, enjoyed similar popularity at the box office in the USA where it has already taken in more than $25 million after opening two weeks ago. Despite the Greek roots of Homer Simpson’s name, the series does not have a big following in Greece.
