With the Acropolis for a backdrop, a Special Olympics athlete lights the flame yesterday for the 15th anniversary celebration of Greece’s Special Olympics committee. In all, 2,002 Special Olympic athletes from 21 countries from all the world will participate in the Games, which open in Athens today and end on Friday.
