Armed robbery…

Guards are seen yesterday through the sliding doors of an AB Vassilopoulos supermarket in Peristeri, western Athens where two armed robbers shot and injured the store manager. The men threatened a member of staff with a gun, forcing her to show them to the manager’s office. The manager, however, refused to open the safe and was shot in the leg. The assailants fled without taking any money and the store manager was taken to the hospital. No further details of his injury were made public.
