Beach umbrellas…
Beach umbrellas toppled over yesterday at the seaside in Palaio Faliron, southern Athens, as strong winds whipped up large waves and kept even the most devoted bathers away. The weather brightened in the coastal suburbs later yesterday but is expected to deteriorate again today and tomorrow. Many boats remained anchored in ports across the country as high winds made sailing dangerous.
