Pakistani women confer during a rally in central Athens protesting Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s emergency rule. The protest, staged outside the Pakistani Embassy, was attended by Pakistani women and children and left-wing activists. The Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group on Monday gave Pakistan a 10-day deadline to end the crisis or face suspension from the organization. Islamabad yesterday rebuffed the threat.
