Laborers constructing Thessaloniki’s metro work amid some ancient ruins, yesterday. The train service will be completed in the northern city in 2012 and will be one of the most modern forms of transport in Europe, according to Public Works and Environment Minister Giorgos Souflias, who inspected the site yesterday.
