Safely transferred…
One of the Caryatid statues is surrounded by people at the New Acropolis Museum in Athens on Saturday after being safely transferred from the Parthenon. It took three hours, using three cranes, to move the statue. The other four Caryatids, which once supported the roof of the porch of the Erechtheion, will be transferred to the museum in the next few days.
