Island of Rhodes…
A snowplow clears a road on the island of Rhodes yesterday following Tuesday’s heavy hailstorm. The storm damaged farmland, disrupted power supplies and created traffic problems. In places, hailstones were 50 centimeters deep. The local fire service received dozens of calls from motorists and citizens trapped in their homes.
