Taxis are seen lined up in Athens yesterday during a 24-hour strike by cabbies, which began at 5 a.m. The taxi drivers want the Transport Ministry to approve plans for another inflation-busting rise in fares. Cabbies want some of their fares to increase by more than 10 percent because of the recent rise in fuel prices.
