Wednesday The General Confederation of Greek Labor (GSEE) and the Civil Servants’ Union (ADEDY) stage a 24-hour strike opposing social security reforms. Several marches will take place in Athens and other cities across the country. Journalists, lawyers, state hospital doctors and bank employees will also strike. Protesters will demonstrate at 11 a.m. at the Pedion tou Areos. Deputy Foreign Minister Yiannis Valinakis to attend EU-Black Sea foreign ministers’ meeting in Kiev.
