‘We are resisting’…
Public Power Corporation (PPC) workers climb onto power lines over the Kifissos River, in Athens’s southern suburbs, yesterday to protest company plans to approve a cooperation deal with Germany’s RWE. With banners reading ‘We are resisting,’ ‘We did not climb up here because we are crazy’ and ‘We did not climb up here to ask for pay hikes,’ the workers also cut off power to the area.
