Perama dockyards…

Workers at the Perama dockyards gather around a monument to dead dockers in a moment of rememberance for the eight men killed in last week’s accident at the port in western Athens. The foreman who was overseeing the work last Thursday is due to appear in court today. The captain of the ship and the manager of the team working on the Friendship Gas tanker are due before a prosecutor tomorrow. Two experts are to begin examining the ship today before they deliver a report on the accident to prosecutors in 15 to 20 days, sources said.
