New land-zoning law…
Public Works and Environment Minister Giorgos Souflias gestures before an Inner Cabinet meeting yesterday. Souflias briefed fellow ministers on the implementation of the new land-zoning law recently passed through Parliament. Souflias said that a framework governing the use of land for industrial activity or the creation of renewable sources of energy would be ready by September but one for the tourism sector would not be ready before the year’s end.
