Defense Minister Yiannos Papantoniou signed a military cooperation agreement with his counterpart from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Vlado Popovski (l), in Skopje yesterday. Papantoniou said it will be much easier for Greece to back FYROM’s bid to join the EU and NATO if the problem of the country’s name is resolved.
