Poor start…
Greece’s Stefani Bismpikou competes on the balance beam during the women’s qualifying round for the artistic gymnastics event at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games yesterday. Bismpikou failed to qualify for the finals. Greece’s athletes got off to a poor start at the Games over the weekend with the exception of Dimitrios Mougios and Vasileios Polymeros finishing second in the men’s rowing lightweight double sculls heat and qualifying for the semifinals.
